Good afternoon everyone!
We have had a very busy and fun week. The children have
written lots of interesting facts to include in their non-chronological report on
sharks, which they will write next week.
In maths the children will finish their topic on
measuring, capacity and temperature and complete various activities to
consolidate their learning.
In geography, the children sketched a map of the
KS2 playground and included human and physical features. Next week, the children
will investigate local habitats, record their findings, and represent this in a
bar chart.
In art, the children finished their topic on
Picasso. First, they practised mixing watercolour paints and then re-created a portrait
from one of Picasso’s collection.
On Monday morning, we will be watching the KS2
performance of ‘Rock Bottom’.
Reminder
On Wednesday, from 3-4.30pm, it is open afternoon
for parents.
On Thursday, we finish at 2pm.
Spellings for next Friday are:
Group 1 – could, house, old, too
Group 2 – badly, loudly, happily, cheerfully,

Have a great weekend.
From the Year 2 team.
