Where has the year gone!
To the Year 2 superstars, what an amazing year it
has been!
We just wanted to say it has been a fantastic, fun
year with your children and they have all worked extremely hard, we are so very
proud of everything they have achieved.
Wishing you a great summer break and thank you all
so much for the very generous gifts and kind words.

Where has the year gone!
The children have been very busy writing
their own stories centred on ‘Toys in Space’ and in maths, the children have
finished the topic on position and direction.
Next week
In maths, the children will be completing numerous problem-solving
calculations along with solving escape room questions in small groups.
Throughout the week, the children will
complete all their topics for Year 2.
Events next week
Tuesday morning, we will be watching the Year 6 performance.
Thursday morning, will be a rounders match between the Year 6's and teachers.
Friday morning, is the Year 6 leaving assembly.
Please remember we finish at 1.15 pm on Friday.

Happy Friday everyone!
Today was 'The Apprentice' which the children
loved. It was good to see them working out their money and enjoying a shopping
session!
It was lovely to see so many of you for parent
consultations this week and discuss how fantastically your children have done
this year, well done everyone.
Next week
English – the
children will continue writing their version of the story ‘Toys in Space’.
Maths – the
children will continue with the topic ‘position and direction’.
Science – the
children will learn life cycles on a selection of animals.
We will also
be finishing our topics for this term.
On Thursday
10th July it will be 'transition day.' This means that each class will move to
their new class for one hour to give the teachers time to get to know them and
the children to ask any questions they may have and familiarise themselves with
their new room.
At 3.30pm
and 5pm there will be meetings for the parents. Parents will meet with the new
class teachers to discuss any changes, ask questions and generally get to know
their child's new teacher.
