Good afternoon, everyone!

The children had a wonderful week! They thoroughly enjoyed designing and making their own hand puppets. They pushed themselves, showed great determination and even completed the sewing on their own—fantastic effort!

The children also worked very hard on their recounts of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, successfully using expanded noun phrases in their writing. Well done, Year 2!

Maths – We will revisit and consolidate the key topics covered throughout the Autumn term.

Geography – We will explore local weather patterns and discuss whether we would prefer to live in a hot or cold climate.

RE – We will continue thinking about the question “Why does Christmas matter to Christians?” and sequence the Christmas story.
