Good afternoon to all,
We have had another action-packed week with lots of fun
activities.
In English the children enjoyed using their imagination creating
their own list poem of
‘Ten things found in
a Wizard’s pocket’.
Next week, we will start our topic on Traditional Tales. The
children will compare the story of Rapunzel the original and modern version and make inferences.
In maths the children used a variety of resources and
methods to solve sums on regrouping and counting on and back through 10.
Next week, the children will use 10 for adding 3 single
digit numbers and will apply last weeks strategies learnt along with exploring
odd and even numbers.
Next week
Science
The children will find out and experiment on how the shapes of solid objects
made from some materials can be changed by squashing, bending, twisting and
stretching.
History
Mr Berridge who attended Little Heath School will visit the
class and talk about the history of the school.
Art
The children will draw in detail the original entrance to
the school.
RE
The children will explore the Christian religious symbols.
