Hello and welcome Year 2,

The children have settled very quickly into the routine of the classroom.

Our focus this week was on outside learning and discussing the environment. The children enjoyed creating their own fun list on the layers of the soil which they learnt from our class book,  'The street beneath our feet’ . The children also worked together in small groups and created a collage using natural materials.

Spellings will start next week and I will put them on blog.

Please can your child bring in their reading book and reading record every day , as they will read their books in class and throughout the week we will listen to your child read.
