Hello Year 2,
The childrens hair styles looked amazing today, full of colour and glitter celebrating
'Children in Need'.
We have been busy preparing the costumes for our Christmas
Production! We have many of the costumes already. If your child needs a costume
a letter will be sent home next week explaining what is needed.
For English we wrote a class poem about 'Anti-Bullying.' The
children worked in groups and each one came up with a line
for the poem. The children also wrote an explanation on, what a bicycle is?
The children completed their mosaic pictures, which look amazing! They will be on display in the corridor outside our classroom.
Next week
English we will be practising our Christmas show.
Maths the children will be doubling numbers and find the
nearest multiple to 10.
Our focus will be on ‘Just Talk’ for mental health week. I
will be reading numerous books promoting well-being which will generate lots of
discussion.
On Friday it is mufti-day for our Christmas Cafe, please
could your child bring in an item of Christmas food to put in the Christmas hamper.
Spellings for Friday are:
Group 1: my, her, what, out.
Group 2: with, father, class, pass, plant, bath.
