Hello everyone!

The children had a fun and busy week, they particularly enjoyed the visit from Potters Bar Fire Station, please see photos below.

In English, the children worked hard creating subordinating conjunctions to predict a story along with learning noun phrases and creating a letter with contraction words.

Next week, the children will learn possessive pronouns to include in a diary entry and use words with the prefix un- to write a set of commands.

In maths, the children will finish their topic on measuring, capacity and temperature and complete various activities to consolidate their learning.

Throughout the week, the children will complete maths questions independently for the Spring progress assessment check.

During the week, we will be finishing our geography, computing, science topics. The children will explore local habitats, record their observations, and present their findings in a bar chart.
