Hello everyone, I hope you had a lovely break.
The children have settled very quickly back into
the daily routine and they have chosen what they would like to do in their
class assembly. Our class assembly is on Friday at 9am in the main hall.
In English, the children enjoyed reading and
discussing the book on ‘Monsters’.
In maths, the
children drew arrays to solve their multiplication sums.
Next week
English – the children will be practising for their class assembly.
Maths – the
topic is geometry, we will be discussing and naming 2D and 3D shapes and their

Science – the
children will explore outside in the playground animals in their habitats and
create a bug hotel. Please could we have
any empty plastic water bottles for the children to use to make their ‘bug
hotels’ to place around the school field to monitor and observe frequently to
see if any insects have arrived!
RE – the
children will be investigating - who made the world?
PSHE –
