Good afternoon, 

This week has flown by and the children have worked extremely hard, well done everyone!

Next week

English – the children will plan and start to write their own version of the story ‘Toys in space’ and include adjectives, commas, adverbs, noun phrases and conjunctions.

Maths – we start our new topic on position and direction.

Geography – discussing how do people use our local coast and collect data using a pictogram and tally chart.

Science – to identify that most living things live in habitats to which they are suited and describe how different habitats provide for the basic needs of different kinds.

PSHE – to recognise the physical differences between boys and girls, using the correct names for parts of the body and appreciate that some parts of the body are private.

Group 1 – you, they, she, was, said

Group 2 – oldest, fastest, loudest, softest, bravest, greatest

Group 3 – smoothest, smartest, sharpest
