Dear everyone in Year two,


We wish to say a huge thank you, thank you, thank you for all our extremely generous gifts.

It has been an absolute pleasure teaching and watching your children progress and grow.

Good afternoon to all.

In English, the children finished creating their explanation text on writing an owners guide on their monster, the children especially enjoyed writing the Do’s and Don’ts!

In maths, the children completed problems solving questions using multiplication and division to consolidate their previous learning.

In science, we discussed various animal life cycles and their habitats, we also checked on the bug hotels to see if they have any visitors!

Next week

Monday, in the afternoon we will watch a movie and play games.

Tuesday, the children will watch the Year 6 performance.

Wednesday, the children will watch the yearly event of rounder’s match Year 6 v the Teachers.

Thursday, the children will use the iPad and complete various decoding games.

Friday, we will watch the leavers’ assembly.

Please remember we finish at 2.00pm.

 Wow, it's Friday again!

The children had an amazing, fun time learning circus skills today.  Please see below some pictures which were taken.




































Next week

English – the children will create their own ‘Owners guide’ on their chosen monster.

Maths – the children will solve maths problems using multiplication and division.

Science – the children will learn life cycles on a selection of animals.

We will also be finishing our topics for this term.

Thursday is transition morning, when your child will meet their new Teacher and Teaching Assistant.

Thursday is ‘Meet the Teacher’ there are two sessions 4.30 or 5.30pm.

Friday is non-uniform day; children are to bring in donations of wine, sweets or chocolate.

Spellings will be to learn the high frequency words, which are in the classroom. The children will have time during the morning in school to learn and practice them.
