Friday 13 March 2020

Good afternoon all!
The children have completed numerous English and maths activities consolidating their topics taught so far.
We had science week and the children have enjoyed many STEM activities – which I’m sure they’ve shared with you. They particularly enjoyed the CSI forensic workshop.

Thank you, Mrs Prime, for spending time with the children and explaining the growth of babies. The children liked listening to their heartbeat.

Next week in English, we will practise for our class assembly which is on Friday at 9 am.

In maths, the children will learn to double and halve numbers along with identifying and describing the properties of 2D and 3D shapes.

Home Learning is the workbooks for Thursday:
English pages 20 to 24 (Sports and Habitats).
Maths pages 15 and 16.
Grammar nouns and noun phrases

Spellings for Friday are:
Group 1: people, put, and , that.
Group 2: fly, flies, cry, cries, baby, babies, reply, replies.
Group 3: there, they’re, their.

Wishing you a great weekend,
Mrs Beadle
